How long are the articles WeChat AI writing produces?

The WeChat article skill writes 1,500–2,500 characters in 3–5 sections, with a title under 30 characters, a 40–60 character summary and a 2.35:1 cover, plus a compliance self-check at the end.

Does AI layout change my text?

No. AI layout only adds an intro card, highlighted quotes, key-point cards, a summary card and a closing call to action; the body text stays as it is. You can also just use one of the 8 templates.

Can it publish straight to my Official Account?

It pushes to your Official Account drafts. You enter your own account's AppID and AppSecret and add our fixed IP to the account's IP allowlist. Verified accounts can also publish in one click, which then waits for WeChat's review; unverified accounts can only push to drafts.

What do images need for a WeChat push?

At least one image, the first being the cover. Images must be JPG or PNG under 1MB each; images in the body are placed at the end of the article.

Can WeChat articles be scheduled?

Yes, from 10 minutes to 30 days ahead, in 5-minute steps, in your time zone.

Can I try the layout without signing up?

Yes. The free WeChat layout editor uses the same 8 templates: paste Markdown or plain text, preview it and copy it into the WeChat editor, no sign-in needed.
